There was a pustule in upper eyelid conjunctiva called "internal hordeolum"

ผ้าเช็ดหน้าในลักษณะนี้ จะเก็บสะสมความสกปรกและเชื้อโรค ทำให้โรคกระจายได้.  Small towel or handkerchief can store germ and dirt, so easy to spread the disease. 

ควรใช้ผ้าเช็ดหน้าแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวแล้วทิ้ง อาจใช้แบบแห้งหรือชนิดเปียกก็ได้ และก่อนล้างหน้าควรล้างมือให้สะอาดก่อนทุกครั้ง

For good hygiene, use disposable paper. Wet disposable paper is less irritate to eyelid because of less friction. Before face washing, should wash your hand thoroughly to reduce germ in your hand.

ประตูรถหนีบนี้ว เกิดบ่อยขึ้นกรณีจอดรถทางลาดชัน เพราะประตูรถจะปิดเร็วและแรงกว่าปกติ

Finger crushed injury from vehicle door occur more often when parking in slope because the door will close faster and more powerful than usual. 

นิ้วที่โดนประตูหนีบ ฐานเล็บฉีก มีเลือดออกใต้เล็บ ทำให้ปวดมาก เล็บลักษณะนี้ถือว่าหลุดแล้ว จะมีเล็บใหม่ขึ้นมาแทน หากมีการฉีกขาดที่ขอบเล็บร่วมด้วย อาจมีการติดเชื้อ เป็นหนองได้ ควรฉีดยาชาและถอดเล็บ หากฐานเล็บฉีกก็ต้องเย็บเพื่อหยุดเลือด

Crushed injury cause subungal hematoma. It is painful. This nail is already loose and new nail will grow instead. If there is laceration at surrounded skin , infection may be occur beneath the nail plate. Nail should be removed under digital anesthesia and suture the bleeding nail bed laceration. 

เล็บใหม่จะขึ้นใหม่จนเต็มภายในระยะเวลา 4 เดือน New nail will grow full in 4 months. 

ไม่ควรถือไม้หรือของแหลมคมขณะเดิน วิ่ง หรือขับรถ Don't hold stick while moving or traveling.

เด็กๆนั่งรถยนต์ต้องคาดเข็มขัดนิรภัยทุกครั้ง และไม่ควรกินหรือเล่นของแหลมคม

Child must be restrained in car seat. Avoid any sharp and stick e.g. Hotdog stick.

Accident like this can occur by holding stick on the move e.g. walking, traveling. The stick pierce medial part of upper eyelid in superolateral direction so it is possible not to pierce right eye ball. 

เศษหินเจียรกระเด็นเข้าตา Foreign body stuck on cornea from grinding fireball

อุบัติเหตุต่อดวงตาที่พบบ่อยคือเศษหินเจียรกระเด็นเข้าตา. Most common eye injury at emergency room is foreign body stuck on cornea

ส่วนมากเศษหินเจียรจะฝังที่กระจกตา จะล้างอย่างไรก็เอาไม่ออก

Foreign body always stuck on cornea. Even though eye was rinsed but it can't be removed. 

ต้องหยอดยาชาเฉพาะที่แล้วใช้ไม้พันสำลีเขี่ยออก หากติดแน่นต้องใช้ปลายเข็มฉีดยาสะกิดออก หากเอาออกยากจริงๆอาจต้องใช้กล้องจุลทรรศน์ช่วย 

After apply topical anesthetic eyedrop e.g. Tetracaine. Foreign body was removed with saline soaked cotton bud or tip of needle by skilled physician. If it not work, removal under microscope is need to prevent further corneal injury. 

โชคดีที่สามารถเอาเศษหินเจียรออกได้โดยง่าย หลังล้างตา ต้องหยอดยาฆ่าเชื้อต่ออีก 1 อาทิตย์

Fortunately, foreign body can be removed by cotton bud. After eye was irrigated with saline, applied antibiotic & anti-inflammatory eye drop daily for one week.

Eye protection with goggle is necessary. 

Save our valuable eyes before they got injured.
